USGA Rules Govern All Play

Out of Bounds (Rules 27-1)
A ball is out of bounds if all of it lies;

  1. Beyond the perimeter fence on the left side of Hole No.2 and 3,
  2. Beyond the white stakes on the left side of Hole No.5,6,7 and 10
Water Hazards (Rule 26)
Water hazards are defined by yellow stakes/lines.
Lateral water hazards are defined by red stakes/lines.
Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2)
  1. Sprinkler heads, irrigation control valves and drainage sumps,
  2. HaIfway houses and bridges,
  3. Directional signs,
  4. Hazard stakes except where the ball lies within the hazard.
Free Lift
Through the green, a ball may be lifted or dropped within one club length from the nearest point of relief where such point is not nearer the hole;

  1. Young trees with white stakes,
  2. Cart Path,
  3. G.U.R as indicated. Play is prohibited on all G.U.R.
  4. Crab holes.
Motorized Carts and Caddies
A motorized cart is part of the players equipment:

  1. When one cart is shared by two player’s, the cart and any person of thing in it is deemed to be the equipment of the player whose ball is involved, except that, when the cart is being driven by one of the players, the cart its contents are considered to be the equipment of that player.
  2. A player or player using a cart may appoint someone to drive the cart if no caddies is available, in which case the driver is considered to be the caddie of the player or players.
  3. Use of a cart by anyone than the player or player using it or the appointed driver is prohibited, Any player allowing unauthorized use of his cart is subject to penalty as follows:

Penalty for breach of condition:

  • Match Play
    At the conclusion of the hole at which the breach is discovered, the state of the match shall be adjusted by deducting one holefor each hole at which a breach occurred. Maximum deduction per round: two holes.
  • Stroke Play
    Two strokes for each hole at which any breach occurred; maximum penalty per round: four strokes. In the event of a breach between the play of two holes, the penalty applies to the next hole.
  • Match or Stroke Play
    Use of any unauthorized automotive vehicle shall be discontinued immediately upon discovering that a breach has occurred. Otherwise, the player shall be disqualified.
